I never want to miss a single important moment, because I know just how precious they are. My daughter is truly my miracle baby. After a long journey through infertility and IVF, she surprised us by arriving early at just 34 weeks. Her birth was traumatic—she had to be life-flighted to a hospital two hours away, and we spent four long weeks in the NICU. When we finally brought her home, I promised myself that every milestone, every smile, and every little “first” would be captured, because she is the biggest blessing in my life.
Not long after, my grandmother gifted me my very first camera. She was my biggest supporter, the one who always encouraged me to chase my dreams. When I lost her in 2022, it felt like I had lost not just my grandma, but my best friend and cheerleader. Continuing in photography is my way of honoring her legacy—it’s something I could never give up, because it carries so much of her encouragement and love within it.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me with my family, exploring the mountains of West Virginia, or soaking in the little things in life that keep me inspired. My faith also plays a huge role in how I approach my work—I see photography as a gift, a calling, and something I get to share with others..
