There’s something so special about photographing a couple waiting on their very first baby — especially when the world around them feels just as alive and full of promise. This fall maternity session at Creekside Park in Archdale, North Carolina was filled with warm color, soft emotion, and the sweetest anticipation for their baby boy.

Even though we shot in the middle of the day, the sunshine danced beautifully through the trees, lighting up the orange and golden leaves all around us. It truly felt like nature was showing off just for them — almost as if the park itself was celebrating this little boy’s upcoming arrival.
