Senior year is such a bittersweet season. One minute you’re counting down football games, prom, and graduation… and the next you’re realizing this chapter of life is almost over. That’s why senior photos are about so much more than just pictures to me. They’re about freezing this season in time before life starts changing in all the best ways.
This recent senior session was extra special because we photographed in some of my favorite locations around downtown High Point, NC — including the train station area and near the High Point Rockers stadium — before heading to Southern Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC to finish the session where so many memories were made.
There’s something so meaningful about capturing seniors in places that truly reflect this season of their life.

Senior year only happens once. These photos become memories you’ll look back on years from now — memories of who you were before graduation, before college, careers, and all the new adventures ahead.
Your senior session should feel like you.
Whether that means dressing up downtown, showing off your school pride, bringing sports gear, cap and gown photos, or just keeping things simple and natural, every senior session is customized to fit your personality and style.
As a North Carolina senior photographer, my goal is always to make seniors feel comfortable, confident, and celebrated during their session.

Downtown High Point honestly makes the perfect backdrop for senior portraits. Between the train station, city streets, brick textures, staircases, and the area around the Rockers stadium, there are so many spots that give photos a clean, modern, timeless feel.
The mix of urban scenery and natural light gave this session so much variety while still keeping everything relaxed and authentic.
Every senior session tells a different story, and downtown High Point always gives us room to create something unique.

After exploring downtown High Point, we headed over to Southern Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC to capture portraits at the school itself. I always love including school locations in senior sessions because it adds such a personal touch to the gallery.
This season represents years of hard work, growth, friendships, sports, late nights, and memories that helped shape who you are becoming.
Being able to photograph another graduate from my own high school made this session even more meaningful for me personally. It felt like such a full-circle moment.

I know being in front of a camera can feel intimidating, but I guide you through the entire session so nothing feels awkward or forced.
