As a mother of three myself, the season of pregnancy is a blessing so dear to my heart. Those nine months are  full of change and excitement and I’m always thrilled and honored when I’m asked to capture photos of this joyous and oh so special season of life. 

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” –Psalm 139:14-15

This session was so much fun! Set against a serene backdrop of a lush meadowside, the bright morning sun bathed fresh morning light over everything in site. Mom was dressed to impress in a gorgeous, flowing gown. She exuded natural beauty, grace and was every bit the glowing mother. Dad looked dapper as well. The love, anticipation and excitement between them was palpable. He showed in each photo, his tender love and care for her, his partner, the mother of his child. It was written all over him. They spent their session relaxed, laughing and enjoying each moment shared together. 

Their joy and anticipation was remarkable to watch. This is their story; their love story and I was honored that they chose me to capture this chapter for them. 

Being pregnant is such a magical time. Having photos to look back upon when your children are learning to walk, talk or are graduating from highschool or college and are beginning new chapters in their own lives, is such a blessing. These photos create memories and stand as reminders of how strong we are as women, how incredible our bodies are and what they are capable of doing!
