There’s something magical about engagement sessions—the excitement, the joy, and the love that fills the air as two people prepare to embark on a lifelong journey together. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Madison and Austin at a field that was on family land, a place that holds special meaning to them. 

From the moment we started, it was clear that their connection was something special. Austin was such a gentleman in this session, he never took his eyes off his fiancé and when he kissed her you could tell the love he had for his future wife. These are the moments that make engagement sessions so incredible, where genuine emotion shines through, and I’m able to capture memories that will last a lifetime.

We began our session in the tall grass with the sunset shinning through the tress at the perfect spot to capture the glow. Madison & Austin felt right at home. The tall grass, the tall green trees and the crisp air was a perfect spot and it provided the perfect backdrop for their love story. Madison & Austin effortlessly transitioned from playful to intimate, showcasing the dynamic bond they share.

As we moved to our next spot, in the tall grass , the mood shifted to something more romantic, intimate, fun. As I had the couple lay in the tall grass and get comfy with each other I did not have to pose them they fell into place themselves. The way he gazed into her eyes when he was pulling her to him to give her a kiss was captured at ease. It was clear that Madison & Austin felt comfortable and completely in tune with each other, which allowed me to capture their authentic selves.

One of my favorite moments from the session was when we got to use her old grandpas truck for some photos. The truck meant so much to Madison and I felt like I was capturing a photos for a country music album. It was a true representation of who they are as a couple.

Engagement sessions like this one are not just about taking beautiful photos; they’re about celebrating a couple’s unique journey. It’s an opportunity to slow down, enjoy the moment, and create memories that will be cherished long after the wedding day.
