Tucked away in the woods of Whitsett, North Carolina, is The Hideaway at Crooked Creek is a stunning venue that blends the charm of farmland with the elegance every couple dreams of for their wedding day. With breathtaking views in every direction and plenty of space for guests, it’s the perfect setting to celebrate love and create lasting memories in North Carolina.
When I met Victoria and Patrick, I quickly learned they were a couple who valued both natural beauty and having a great time. Their wedding day was the perfect reflection of that balance – full of heartfelt, quiet moments and unforgettable celebrations.

Getting Ready Moments
The day started with the bride, her bridesmaids, and even the sweetest little baby — all dressed in matching pajama sets that were both stylish and fun. We stepped outside to enjoy the fresh air, and I captured the girls laughing and smiling together. These weren’t staged moments — they were genuine memories that Victoria will treasure forever.
When it was time for Victoria to put on her gown, she looked absolutely breathtaking. She shared a first look with her bridesmaids, and their tear-filled reactions were priceless. These little moments are the ones that matter most — the ones you’ll look back on and remember how deeply loved you were on your wedding day.

A Private First Look & Vows with a beautiful old North Carolina Oak Tree
Victoria and Patrick also chose to do a first look before their ceremony, and it couldn’t have been more meaningful. With farmland as the backdrop, Patrick turned around to see his bride and was completely speechless. They exchanged private vows, filled with words from the heart, and it was one of the most emotional parts of the day. For couples who want a quiet, intimate space to soak it all in before the celebration begins, a first look is the perfect choice.

The Ceremony – Overlooking a beautiful North Carolina Farm
Their ceremony overlooked the rolling farmlands of Whitsett, North Carolina, with a wooden cross as the centerpiece. It was the perfect way to symbolize having God at the center of their marriage. With her veil blowing in the breeze and a kiss that sealed the moment, it was everything a wedding ceremony should be — beautiful, meaningful, and unforgettable.

Bridal Party & Portraits
Victoria and Patrick had one of the largest bridal parties I’ve ever photographed — 10 on each side! But with plenty of space at The Hideaway, we had no problem capturing both the fun and the elegance of the group.
When it came time for portraits of just the two of them, the spotlight was truly theirs. Victoria was radiant in her gown, her veil adding the perfect touch of elegance, while Patrick couldn’t take his eyes off her. These portraits are the kind of images that couples hang in their home for years to come — timeless reminders of the love and joy of the day.

The Reception & Celebration
From the grand bridal party entrances (complete with dance moves, laughter, and even a few “accidental” falls) to Victoria and Patrick’s emotional first dance, the reception was nothing short of unforgettable.
The dance floor stayed packed all night, with guests singing, dancing, and even breaking into karaoke. And when the rain started toward the end of the night, it didn’t stop the celebration — Victoria and Patrick ran through their sparkler exit with pure joy, ending the night with smiles, laughter, and a little smoke in the air.
