I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Linzi & Thomas’s engagement session recently, and what an incredible day it was! From the moment they arrived, their excitement and love were contagious, and every moment felt effortless and genuine.

We started the session in downtown Winston Salem North Carolina, a spot i knew they would absolutely love. When i first spoke with Linzi about what her vision was for her engagement session she said something totally opposite of what i thought she was going to say. The natural beauty of the area perfectly complemented their playful personalities and deep connection. It was not hard at all to capture the love and laughter from both of them. Thomas knew everything to do to make his soon to be bride laugh. From whispering something funny in her ear, to hip bumping her all the way down the sidewalk.

As the session went on, they became even more comfortable in front of the camera, allowing their personalities to shine. It’s so inspiring to witness couples who can be themselves so freely and let their love story unfold so beautifully.

One of my favorite shots from the day was having them softly touch one another with the tip of their noses and just take every moment in. These are the moments that truly capture the essence of a relationship – unscripted, genuine, and full of joy.
